We
would like to inform the Members of the Staff Association, that
yesterday the proposed changes to the Statutes of the Staff Association
were approved during the Special Assembly which was convened to
consider the proposed revisions and adoption of the same.
200
members participated in the Special Assembly, representing more than
the 25% of the members required, to constitute a quorum, in accordance
with Article 11 of the Statutes currently in force.
The
results obtained are the following:
Votes
in favor of the proposed changes: 165
Votes
against the proposed changes: 9
Blank votes: 5
Void votes: 1
Abstentions: 20
We
would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff who
participated in the Assembly, the Department of Human Resources for
allowing staff to be excused from their responsibilities to
participate, and especially all the volunteers who made it possible.
