HURRICANES GUSTAV, HANNA & IKE - RELIEF EFFORT
The Staff committee
extends its deepest sympathy to all Staff Members from those countries
affected by Hurricanes Gustav, Hanna and Ike which passed through the
Caribbean Sea recently, leaving in their wake devastating loss of life,
damage to property and thousands of persons homeless, especially in
Haiti.
We have therefore opened
an account, No. 500663, at the OAS Staff Federal Credit Union and
invite the Staff to make donations for Haiti which we will forward
through that country’s Permanent Mission to the OAS.
All donations should
include the account number -No. 500663- and country –Haiti.

El Comité del
Personal desea expresar sus más profundas muestras de simpatía a todos
los Miembros del Personal de aquellos países afectados por los
Huracanes Gustav,
Hanna
y Ike
que pasaron por el Mar Caribe recientemente, y que resultaron en la
pérdida de vidas, daños a propiedades y miles de personas damnificadas,
especialmente en Haití.
En este
sentido, hemos abierto una cuenta, No. 500663 en la Cooperativa de
Ahorro y Crédito de la OEA e invitamos al Personal a hacer donaciones
para Haití, las cuales serán enviadas a través de la Misión Permanente
de este país ante la OEA.
Cada donación
debe incluir el número de cuenta
-No.
500663- y el país –Haití.
