Special Staff Assembly

            A Special Staff Assembly was convened for July 1^st, 2008, in response to a petition by the Staff to address two proposals regarding the Statutes of the Staff Association. At the start of the Assembly the quorum required under the Statute was not present and therefore the Assembly was not held.

At the request of one Staff Member those present held an informal discussion of the proposals which had been submitted in the petition.  It was apparent from that discussion that there is a need for the Statutes to be revised and the Staff Committee agreed to recommend that the incoming Staff Committee undertake this task.
