to the OAS Staff Association’s Christmas Party. I
hereby fully release and forever discharge the
Organization of American States, the General
Secretariat of the Organization of American States and
its officers, employees, and agents, from any and all
claims, demands, actions, and liabilities arising out
of or related to any damage, injury, or death which may
befall any of the children listed above, me, members of
my family, and/or my invited guests participating in
the OAS Staff Association’s Children’s Christmas Party
(“the Christmas Party”). I further warrant that I am
of lawful age and legally competent to sign this Waiver
and Release; that I am the parent or legal guardian of
the children listed above, and warrant that I am
legally authorized to sign this Waiver and Release on
behalf of the children listed above. I have read and
understand the terms herein, and I am fully aware and
acknowledge that the games and activities taking place
at the Christmas Party pose a risk to the health and
safety to myself and the children listed above, and I
hereby knowingly and voluntarily fully assume that risk
so as to exclude the OAS, GS/OAS, and its Officers,
employees and agents from any liability arising out of
the Christmas Party. I shall fully indemnify and
hold harmless OAS, GS/OAS, and its officers, employees,
and agents from any claim, demand, or action brought by
me, my spouse, or any other relative or legal guardian
of the children named above in relation to or arising
out of the Christmas Party. This Waiver and Release
is binding on my heirs and assigns.

a la Fiesta de Navidad de la Asociación de Personal de
la OEA. Por el presente, me obligo a mantener a la
Organización de los Estados Americanos, y a sus
directivos, trabajadores y representantes, indemnes y
libres de toda responsabilidad ante cualquier y todo
tipo de demanda, acción o reclamo derivado y/o
relacionado con cualquier daño, perjuicio o muerte que
pueda ser ocasionado contra cualquiera de los niños
arriba listados, mi, los miembros de mi familia, y mis
invitados, durante la participación en la Fiesta
Infantil Navideña organizada por la Asociación de
Personal de la OEA (en adelante la “Fiesta Infantil
Navideña”). Además, certifico que tengo mayoría de
edad y que soy legalmente capaz para suscribir la
presente declaración de exención de responsabilidad en
representación de los niños(as) listados a
continuación. Declaro haber leído y entendido los
términos de la presente declaración, y estoy advertido
y tengo pleno conocimiento que los juegos y actividades
que tendrán lugar en la Fiesta Infantil Navideña
involucran riesgo en la salud y seguridad de mi persona
y de los niños(as) listados arriba; por lo que, bajo la
presente declaración, y con pleno cocimiento y
voluntad, asumo dicho riesgo a fin de liberar de
cualquier responsabilidad que surja de la Fiesta
Infantil Navideña. Me comprometo a indemnizar y
mantener libre de toda responsabilidad a la OEA, a la
SG/OEA, y a sus directivos, trabajadores y
representantes, ante cualquier demanda, acción o
reclamo que se derive y/o se relacione con la Fiesta
Infantil Navideña, interpuesta por mi, por mi esposo(a)
o por cualquier otro pariente o tutor de los niños(as)
mencionados arriba. Esta declaración voluntaria de
exención de responsabilidad obliga también a mis
herederos y beneficiarios.
