Natural Disaster, TABASCO - RELIEF EFFORT

              The Staff committee extends its sympathy to all the Staff Members on the recent lost and devastation suffered in Tabasco, Mexico as a result of the severe rains which caused intense flooding and mudslides leaving a significant loss of life, damage to property and thousands of persons homeless.

               We have therefore opened an account, No. 600663, at the OAS Staff Federal Credit Union and invite the Staff to make donations for Mexico, which we will forward through the respective Permanent Missions to the OAS.

                 El Comité del Personal desea expresar su solidaridad a todos los Miembros del Personal de México por el incidente ocurrido en la ciudad de Tabasco, donde las intensas lluvias y avalanchas de lodo dejaron miles de personas damnificadas y sin hogar.

                En este sentido, hemos abierto la cuenta, No. 600663 en la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito de la OEA e invitamos al Personal a hacer donaciones para región de Tabasco, México, las cuales serán enviadas a través de la respectiva Misión Permanente ante la OEA.
