HURRICANE NOEL- RELIEF EFFORT

              The Staff committee extends its sympathy to all the Staff Members from those countries affected by Hurricane Noel which passed through the Caribbean Sea recently, leaving in its wake devastating loss of life, damage to property and thousands of persons homeless in The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica.

               We have therefore opened an account, No. 500663, at the OAS Staff Federal Credit Union and invite the Staff to make donations for the affected Member States which we will forward through the respective Permanent Missions to the OAS.

                 El Comité del Personal desea expresar sus muestras de simpatía a todos los Miembros del Personal de aquellos países afectados por el Huracán Noel que paso por el Mar Caribe recientemente, y que resultó en la perdida de vidas, daños a propiedades y miles de personas damnificadas en Las Bahamas, Haití, Jamaica y la República Dominicana.

                En este sentido, hemos abierto una cuenta, No. 500663 en la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito de la OEA e invitamos al Personal a hacer donaciones para los Estados Miembros afectados, las cuales serán enviadas a través de las respectivas Misiones Permanentes ante la OEA.
