Relief Effort for Mexico The
Staff Association extends its deepest solidarity and support to the
Government and People of the United Mexican States who have suffered
tremendous losses as a result of earthquakes on September 7th in
Oaxaca and Chiapas, and on September 19th
in the states of Mexico, Morelos, Guerrero, Puebla and Mexico City. Reports
to date indicate that hundreds of people have died and there has been
significant damage to the country’s infrastructure.
In
order to benefit the people affected, we have opened an account, #600663
- OAS Staff Association / Disaster Relief #4 at the OAS Credit Union and we would like to invite staff
members to support this effort by making a donation. The IDB will match each contribution that
enters the fund (both from the OAS Staff Association and the IDB). Donate to
the victims of Mexico! They need
all the support we can provide. Thank

expresiones de solidaridad y apoyo al Gobierno y al pueblo del Mexico, quienes han sufrido enormes pérdidas como consecuencia
de los sismos del 7 de septiembre en
los estados de Oaxaca y Chiapas, y del 19 de septiembre en los estados de
México, Morelos, Guerrero, Puebla y la Ciudad de México. Informes
a la fecha indican que cientos de personas han quedado sin hogar y existen
enormes daños en la infraestructura del país.
Con
el fin de beneficiar a las personas afectadas, hemos abierto una cuenta, #600663 - OAS Staff Association / Disaster Relief #4 en la Cooperativa de Crédito de la OEA y
queremos invitar al personal para que se solidarice con esta situación
haciendo efectiva una donación.
El
BID donará una cantidad equivalente a cada contribución que ingrese al fondo. (tanto de la
Asociación del Personal de la OEA como del BID). ¡Dona para las víctimas de Mexico! Ellos necesitan todo el apoyo que podamos proporcionar.
