Domestic Partnerships/Civil Unions Voluntary Survey
Dear Staff Members,
As you are probably aware, the Administration has announced that it supports recognition of domestic partnerships/civil unions on the same terms that it does marriage in providing employee benefits. The proposed policy would recognize domestic partnerships/civil unions that are legally registered and enforceable under the national, state/provincial, or local law of the registering jurisdiction in any of the OAS Member States.
In order to help the Administration to prepare a report to the Permanent Council on the proposed policy, we kindly ask those Staff Members who are currently in a domestic partnership/civil union (same or opposite sex) in any of the OAS Member States to fill out our voluntary on-line survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/OASDPSURVEY (Password: oasdpsurvey@9) on or before July 15, 2011.
