Thank you Note for the Ecuador Relief Effort In the aftermath of the April 16th earthquake
in Ecuador, OAS staff members, through the OAS Staff Association, collected
and donated more than 300 pounds of food and other supplies and 16 packages
of clothes to the people of Ecuador. On May 10th, the
OAS Staff Committee presented a check in the amount of $1,670 to the Ecuador
Reconstruction Fund, representing cash donations from staff members. The Staff Committee wishes to send a heartfelt thank
you to those who volunteered and contributed. These contributions serve as an
important symbol of our solidarity with the people we serve in this

por las Contribuciones a Ecuador A raíz del
devastador terremoto en Ecuador ocurrido el 16 de abril, los miembros del
personal de la OEA, a través de la Asociación del Personal de la OEA,
recolectaron y donaron más de 300 libras de alimentos y otros artículos, 16
paquetes de ropa. El 10 de mayo, el
Comité del Personal de la OEA entregó un cheque por la suma de $ 1.670 para
el Fondo de Reconstrucción de Ecuador, monto recaudado de las donaciones en
efectivo de los miembros del personal. El Comité del Personal desea
enviar su sincero agradecimiento a los que fueron voluntarios y contribuyeron
con esta causa. Estas contribuciones es símbolo de solidaridad con el pueblo
al que servimos, en especial en tiempos de necesidad. |
