INVITATION TO THE
SEMINAR ON The Association of Retirees of the OAS
(AROAS) and the OAS Staff Federal Credit Union (OASFCU) are pleased to invite
you to an information seminar on a payment alternative to cover Long Term Care,
presented by a representative of the Pacific Life Insurance Company and
Cetera Advisor Networks. Many believe that their
health-insurance policy will cover all or most of their medical and personal
care, such as help in dressing, bathing, and toileting. Unfortunately, health
insurance generally focuses on the prevention and treatment of medical
conditions. Long-term care services are designed to help you maintain your
current lifestyle at a time when you can no longer be independent. This type
of care may be needed if you develop a chronic or long-term illness, suffer
from a serious injury or disability, or acquire a cognitive impairment that
causes disorientation. There exist a range
of alternatives to cover long-term care and protect your assets by providing
you with the funds needed to alleviate this situation, among them long-term
care insurance, reversible mortgages, annuities, and trusts. . The purpose of this
seminar is to introduce an alternative to long-term care through life
insurance that offers this benefit, which will be of great interest to both
AROAS members and career and long-term contract staff members who are
thinking about retiring in the next five or six years. When: January 29th from 12:30 pm to 1:30
