Interested in an OAS Group for  Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex (LGBTI) Persons? With the support of the OAS Staff Association and the Inter-American Commission on Human    Rights Rapporteurship on the Rights of LGBTI Persons, a group of staff members is in the process of creating an OAS LGBTI Group with the aim of promoting equality for LGBTI persons in the workplace, as well as building community through social programming among LGBTI Staff/CPRs/Interns and friends. Please join us for our first meeting as we talk about the group's views and programming ideas. The group is open to anyone: Staff/CPRs/Interns who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and/or Intersex and all others who support this initiative. Con el apoyo de la Asociación del Personal de la OEA y la Relatoría sobre los Derechos de las Personas LGBTI de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, funcionarios de la OEA están en proceso de establecer un Grupo LGBTI de la OEA con el objetivo de promover la igualdad de las personas LGBTI en el lugar de trabajo, así como desarrollar una comunidad a través de actividades de interés social entre staff/CPRs/pasantes LGBTI y amigos/as. Les invitamos a nuestra primera reunión para intercambiar perspectivas sobre el grupo e ideas de programación.
