ELECTORAL
PROCESS 2016-2017 Eligibility / Code of Conduct Every year Staff Members are
encouraged to exercise their right to be candidates and to vote in the
elections for the OAS Staff Committee and the OAS Retirement and Pension Fund
Committee. The Nominating Committee takes
this opportunity to orient and inform Staff about their eligibility to run as
candidates to represent staff interests in the Staff Committee and the
Retirement and Pension Fund Committee, as well as to advise staff members
about their eligibility to vote. In addition, the Nominating Committee
has deemed it essential to introduce guidelines for campaign conduct to be

ejercer sus derechos para elegir y ser elegidos. Ya sea como candidatos o
como electores en las elecciones para el Comité del Personal de la OEA y el
Comité del Fondo de Pensiones y Jubilaciones de la OEA. El Comité de Nominaciones aprovecha esta oportunidad para orientar e
informar al personal sobre su elegibilidad para presentarse como candidato(a)
para representar el interés del personal en el Comité del Personal y el
Comité del Fondo de Pensiones y Jubilaciones. Igualmente, busca asesorar a
