ELECTORAL PROCESS 2008-2009
Nominations for Staff Committee
It’s
time again for Staff Association elections. In
preparation for the election scheduled June 26 and 27,
2008, the Nominating Committee invites you to nominate
candidates for the President and members of the Staff
Committee, as well as a representative and an alternate
on the Retirement and Pension Committee. To do so,
simply fill out the
Nominating Petition.
Serving
on the Staff Committee is an outstanding way to make your
voice heard. It is an honor and an opportunity to
empower our Association.
The
Nominating Petition should be
accompanied by a brief resume in English and/or Spanish
and a recent photograph of the candidate.
Nominations must be delivered to any Nominating Committee
member by 5:00 p.m. on
Friday, June 6, 2008. Each nomination must be
endorsed by the signatures of at least six staff members
of the General Secretariat.

Candidates will be announced on June 9, 2008. Elections
will be held June 26 at offices away from headquarters
and June 27 at headquarters.

Nominaciones para el Comité del Personal
¡Es tiempo de elecciones en la Asociación del Personal!
Con motivo de las elecciones a realizarse entre los días
26 y 27 de Junio, el Comité de Nominaciones le extiende
una calida invitación para nominar candidatos para
Presidente y miembros del Comité del Personal, así como
para representante y alterno del Comité de Jubilaciones y
Pensiones. Para hacerlo, simplemente llene la
Papeleta de Nominaciones.
Ser parte del Comité del Personal es una excelente manera
de hacer oír la voz de los funcionarios y es un honor y
una oportunidad única para fortalecer nuestra Asociación.
La
Papeleta de Nominaciones debe ser
acompañada por un breve CV, en español o inglés, así
como una foto reciente del candidato.
Las papeletas de Nominaciones deben ser entregadas a
cualquier miembro del Comité de Nominaciones
hasta las 5:00 p.m. del
viernes 6 de junio. Cada nominación debe ser
respaldada por la firma de al menos seis miembros del
personal de la Secretaría General.

fuera de la sede y el 27 de junio en la sede.
